THE Celtic FC Festival is lining up to be a fantastic weekend, and the club are delighted to announce yet another Hoops legend who is set to appear!

Former Celt, Chris Sutton will attend the festival for a Q&A hosted by Celtic TV’s Gerry McCulloch on Saturday, July 27 (1:30pm – 2pm).

Chris Sutton’s Celtic career spanned over six seasons, from 2000 to 2006, when he helped the club win four league titles, three Scottish Cups and one League Cup, as well as reaching the 2003 UEFA Cup final.

The striker scored many European goals as well as domestic stunners such as the quickest goal ever in a Glasgow derby clash, scored at Ibrox in 2002 after just 18 seconds.

In the 2003/4 season, Sutton was voted PFA Scotland’s Player of the Year after scoring 19 league goals – among the most memorable being an injury-time winner against Rangers at Paradise to give the Bhoys a clean sweep of victories over their rivals that term.

Festival goers on the Saturday can also enjoy an Audience with Chief Executive Peter Lawwell, but spaces are filling up fast, with just a few seats remaining – so don’t miss your chance to be there!
